About the Resident Program

Since 1965, the Graduate Program in Acoustics has offered several options leading to a graduate degree in acoustics. Penn State is the only school in the U.S. that currently offers a Ph.D. in Acoustics. As of Spring 2017, the Graduate Program in Acoustics has awarded:
