  • Simowitz Award and Citation

The Simowitz Award was established as a memorial by the family of Kenneth T. Simowitz, a student in the Acoustics Program. One award is presented at the Awards Ceremony held each April and is given in recognition of superior work in one of the following areas: a written article published in a refereed journal; other scholarly work such as a film, patent, editorial or creative work; such other professional activity as may be approved by the Awards Committee. A more complete set of eligibility requirements can be obtained from the Acoustics Program Office. The award consists of a cash prize and a plaque or certificate.
